Trail Report- Saturday, January 13, 2018 with update

A lot of rain came down yesterday. Overnight the rain did turn into a little bit of snow. The good news is that the trails aren't totally brown. The trails are basically frozen rocks with a little dusting over them. Where it is groomed seems to have stayed but I'm guessing there could be bare spots out there. The fields and such do have brown spots. The riding is a little rough out there today. Probably too little snow for the groomer to go out. Be careful out there. There definitely could be surprises. Please report down trees and other hazards we will need to know about. The better news is that it may snow midweek! THINK SNOW!!!!

Update from our club president:
If you ride on the trails be careful! There is a lot of ice out there, all the hills well the slippery. There may be open water and ditches.

There is a storm in the forecast for the first part of this week coming up. Hopefully it will bring us enough snow to cover the imperfections on the trail.

Update from a club member:
Trails are passable but be on the lookout for lots of hazards. Drive cautiously. Trails are icy.
