Trail Report- Friday, January 19, 2018

We got about 5-7" of snow this week which is great. We do need a little more so keep on doing your snow dances. After grooming. it compresses down to about an inch but we'll take it! East of 103 was groomed yesterday and west of 103 will be groomed tonight. Report from the groomer yesterday was that the new snow made the trails better but there is still visible ice in spots and we need to be careful out there. This weekend will be warmer so the ice will soften a bit but it might open up more water bars. Be ready for the unexpected.

You're invited to Sled Safety Check Day this Saturday!
On Saturday, January 20th, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, the Windsor County Sheriff's Deputies will be at our Warming Hut (intersection of 127A & 127B) to do a safety check on snowmobiles. This is a courtesy inspection and if your snowmobile passes (bring your paperwork!) you will be provided a sticker that will be honored at subsequent on trail safety enforcement checks. Hot Dogs and Hot Chocolate will be provided to those that attend. Sorry about the late notice. We had to wait for snow in order to schedule this event.
