Trail Report #6 Winter 2016-2017

Our trails remain in favorable conditions despite the yo-yo weather conditions. The warm weather and rain have had a negative effect but due to the good trail base most of our trail system remains viable. Trail conditions in the valley have some challenges whereas at higher elevations the snow conditions are much more plentiful. All of our trails have been groomed and we continue to maintain our grooming schedule. With the warm weather some of the trails that are normally wet or traverse the shoulder of gravel roads have minimal coverage. As always snowmobilers should drive with caution and expect the unexpected. Although the temperatures have warmed up, some of the trees and brush that were ice coated and bent over have not entirely straightened up. Riders should be careful of low hanging branches. As always ride with care!!
