Trail Report #5 Winter 2020-2021

TRAILS REMAIN CLOSED AT THIS TIME! There are essentially no changes in trail conditions this week. We have had cool weather mixed with warmer weather but no precipitation. Results are packed trails but without enough to cover grass, stumps, rocks, and gravel. This week has seen snow dustings but nothing sufficient to improve the trails. Riding will be delayed until there is more snow. The weather people have issued a mixed forecast for the weekend. It probably will start as rain (temps in the high 30’s to low 40’s) and then turn mixed as the temperatures cool. It is supposed to end as an all-snow event.

Just a note that the Route 1 trail has a reroute in the area of EX 523. A new section of the trail has been constructed and appropriate signage has been set out. Please use caution in this area as there is logging going on and a portion of the trail will be shared with logging equipment.
